Farmer Opportunities

Your Ideas. Your Brand. Your Future.

The next generation of agriculture needs more than technical training. It needs opportunities for farmers to experiment, develop products, understand their customers, and build businesses that can survive beyond a single growing season. CAC is developing an agricultural living-lab and incubator model designed to make those opportunities more accessible, particularly to beginning farmers and people who have historically faced barriers to entering agriculture.

Learn by Doing

Our planned programs will connect participants with practical agricultural production, regenerative practices, and real operating environments.

The goal is to develop a deeper understanding of how farms function, what different production systems require, and how environmental decisions affect business performance.

Test Your Business Idea

Farming is not only about producing a commodity. It's also about understanding what makes that product valuable to a customer.

We intend to help participants explore agricultural business concepts through product development, pricing research, branding, market testing, production budgets, and analysis of commercial demand.

Build Your Own Brand

We believe farmers should have opportunities to capture more of the value they create.

Our planned incubator model is designed around farmer ownership. Participants would retain ownership of their independent brands, business concepts, and future enterprises while gaining experience and information to support their development.

Prepare to Grow Independently

The goal is not to keep participants permanently dependent on CAC. It is to help them develop the experience, financial understanding, market evidence, and practical business plans needed to pursue their own agricultural operations.

We want farmers to leave better prepared to approach lenders, identify customers, access land, and make informed business decisions.

The Goal Is Independence.

We want more farmers to have the opportunity to build businesses they own, brands they believe in, and livelihoods they can sustain.

Farmer incubator and living-lab programming is in development. Program structure, availability, and participation requirements will be announced as plans are finalized.
